Why?

Why do spammers keep leaving me comments?

Nothing new happening here. I feel like I can't post without a picture involved - and my camera is broken. I'm thinking that with the government money, we are going to get a new digital camera with some of it. Won't that be fun? So I guess it will be a couple of months worth of no picture posts.

In other news, only 20 more days of school left - which means 20 more days until we leave to go to the beach! woo hoo!

Since this IS supposed to be a knitting blog .....

Here's some BEAUTIFUL Lorna's Laces that I am currently knitting a pair of socks with. Something wrong with my camera, but hopefully I can show you what this yarn is turning in to tomorrow.

Another apron ....

I was part of the greatest swap .... The Flirty Apron Swap. My apron was waiting for me when I got home from the beach and it is so cute! Thank you, Irma ... I love it. The bottom is a close up of the dish towel she put in. Cute, huh? I'll post pics of the apron I made tomorrow.

More beach pictures ....

Our last day at the beach ..... *sigh*. As you can see, Charlie finally smiled for a picture. We hated to leave the beach, but it is good to be home. We'll be going to Florida next month, so it won't be long until we go back.

Fun at the beach

As you can see, MOST of us have had fun in Orange Beach, AL! The water is freezing, but the kids aren't minding one bit.

Fun at the Naval Air Museum

We had fun at the Naval Air Museum in Pensacola, FL! The boys spent a couple of hours running around the place looking for "clues" in an interactive game they have there. Their prize was coupons for our next trip .... I don't think they will want to do an interactive game again.
